Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown on the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and the browser user agent string to assist in detection spam.

An anonymous string created from your email address (also called a hash) can be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile image will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the site, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Site visitors can download and extract any image location data on the site.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our website, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so you don’t have to re-enter your details when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for a year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data
